«Tell me in confidence» A relic from the Singing Bottles» Where does the artwork start or stop?

The things that are out of control and never finished. The human voice is the instrument we always carry inside and with us.

We use our voice to express thoughts and feelings. This is a story about the things that affect us, in the course of life. 

We can have many characters; in my work, I use masks to describe the elements of change. Music and singing as therapy How to move on after difficult trauma?

I will activate my space/room/installation every day between 12:00 and 14:00. By this I mean having a conversation, listening to music, playing the piano and singing, Joik, Throat-sang and Chant. For example, we can talk about the exhibition, our relationship with Art, and how we move on after trauma? This can be done in English and Norwegian. If you just want to sit down and read or rest, you are welcome. I will ask you for a picture, which will go into my archive, but this will only be done if you want.

On the opening night, April 12 at 8.30 p.m. I had a Performance in my installation at Kunstnernes Hus. I activated my space by trying to express different feelings about being close to people with addictions like here, alcohol. I use music and my voice and step into a role to express myself. My presence in my own exhibition has been central in recent years.

Abuse can have so many variations and degrees of severity. I think everyone has an addiction. It may mean that we can all feel some of these feelings. There is a lot of shame associated with our addiction.
